Former wayward frontman of ‘Marshall and the Fro’, Marshall Okell, returns in 2015 with a 4th album Sipping on Rocket Fuel, recorded in his home town of Byron Bay, NSW.
2 years on from his 2013 album ‘Birdy’, Marshall has made a notable return to the music of his youth, combining his love for legendary artists Little Feat and The Allman Brothers with his undisguisable Hendrix/ Woodstock sound.
Describing his recent time in the studio as a period of “Great, soulful, natural expression with no protection” Marshall’s latest musical offering includes tracks that have been up to 10 years in the making.
